Christian Endeavour in Scotland
Since its creation in 1881 Christian Endeavour has continually strived to work with the church as well as for the church. C.E. serves and supports the church with material and resources designed to be non-denominational. Each individual church has the freedom to decide the theology, programme, activities and relationship with the children and young people.
The church needs young people and whether they realise it or not today's young people need the guidance and support the Bible so perfectly provides. C.E.'s goal is to bring young people to a commitment to Christ and His church while benefitting the local church by developing the children's own leadership skills.
Purpose: Christian Endeavour aims to equip and encourage children and young people in the service of christ and the church.
Personal Growth; C.E. is a Bible-based organisation and its resources are dedicated to the growth of each individual in their Christian journey. Equipping Ministry; C.E. has always been and will remain a "hands on" resource to help chidren and young people develop their gifts and skills in their local church and beyond. Faith in Action; C.E. is designed to be an outreach that allows children and young people to grow in their faith and witness as they interact with their peers and community.
Endless Possibilities; No two Christian Endeavour meetings need be the same. C.E. provides a variety of opportunities and activities for children and young people to learn and interact with others. Christian Endeavour is ready to help you and your local church. Our representatives would be happy to visit your area to talk to your Children/Youth workers, Pastor/Minister.
