Operation Mobilisation
OM's role in the Church is to mobilise people to share the knowledge of Jesus and His love with every generation in every nation. OM pioneers and leads initiatives to Redeem Lives, Rebuild Communities and Restore Hope in every region of the world and on every ocean (via two ships).
Each year, hundreds of Christians serve on an OM short-term outreach. Joining an international team, participants follow a ministry programme that varies in length from one week to six months. The different outreaches involve anything that supports the local Church, including children's camps, sports workshops, street evangelism and practical assistance.
OM's Global Action programme is a one or two year exposure to global mission. The traning participants receive in ministry and language are designed to provide skills for future service back home or abroad. The Global Action programme is offered in many of the 110 countries where OM works and is open to those over 18 who have a willingness to serve.
Those who give two weeks, two years or two decades of their lives with OM can testify to the transformation that takes places. As people you interact with encounter Christ in new ways, so too will your own faith be enriched.
In total, over 5,400 people serve with OM in 110 countries and we are united by our love for Jesus and desire to give others the opportunity to know Him.
