By prayer and through the power of the Holy Spirit, our vision is to glorify God in our partnership with others in the body of Christ as we endeavour to establish a mature church in the world. To achieve this we are a catalyst and channel for service in: Evangelising the unreached; Ministering to human need; Discipling believers into churches; Equipping them to fulfil Christ’s commission.
SIM and its partner churches are committed to working in a way which will impact the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of the people we serve.
SIM personnel across Africa, Asia and South America are involved in evangelism and church planting; discipling and leadership training; mobilising and encouraging churches in to mission, as well as working in translation and literacy, health care and HIV/AIDs related ministries, children’s work and community development.
SIM (Serving in Mission) is devoted to planting, strengthening and partnering with churches. As Christians we are committed to the Bible and what it teaches, dependent on God and people of prayer. We are mission-focused and concerned about human needs and as a mission organisation; we aim to be a sharing, Christ-like community, international and interdenominational.
