A fellowship supporting and encouraging christian teachers through termly newsletter, prayer diary and annual day conference.
The Association of Christian Teachers Scotland is a charitable, professional body of like-minded Christians who can stand firm on issues relating to Christian faith and practice in schools. We have many opportunities to be a Christian voice in Education and it is the committee's desire to inspire and encourage members including representing membership views in responses to consultation documents from the Scottish Executive; encouraging prayer support; organising events; working with like minded organisations to promote Christian principles in education.
We have many contacts overseas through scottish teachers working abroad in many varied situations and countries. We also have links to other Christian Teacher fellowships in India and Uganda.
We keep in touch with members through our termly magazine InterACT and make known prayer requests and needs of our overseas members via its pages.
