Scripture Union Scotland;helping young people find dynamic faith in Jesus Christ!
What we do: Holidays; Every year SU Scotland provides holidays and weekend breaks for around 4500 children and young people, with activities ranging from gorge walking and skiing to creative arts! Over 2000 volunteers are needed to make these events possible. School Groups; A core element of SU’s strategy is to see one or more Christian groups established in every secondary school in Scotland. Through X:perience groups, Christian Focus Weeks and assemblies, SU has an increasingly strong presence and excellent reputation in schools across the country.
What we can offer you: An extensive range of resources for small groups, Sunday Schools, and holiday clubs; Training at venues across Scotland in preparation for leadership, child protection and summer activities; Two excellent residential centres Alltnacriche and Lendrick Muir, ideal for conferences, short breaks, and a hot spot for SU Holidays; an amazing different number of ways to volunteer including international and gap year placements!
