OAC MINISTRIES
OAC is working in 20 countries with over 100 evangelists and around 300 associates. In Britain we have 20 evangelists, 5 assistant evangelists, 7 schools workers and 30 associates with many volunteers and an army of prayer partners and supporters. Our aim is to reach the 91% who never go to church and are never likely to attend a church meeting.
OAC seeks to preach the Gospel of Christ by all means, working with the Church, with particular emphasis on open air and outgoing evangelism. This is summed up in the OAC motto: Presenting Christ by all means everywhere.
Mission Africa sends out teams every year to Africa to help and encourage the local churches and share God’s love with those who are marginalised and unreached. The teams go and work alongside our African partners to work with street kids, AIDS projects and hospitals. Telling people about Jesus is also an important part of what our teams do, as well as helping young Christians to grow in their faith. In recent years Mission Africa has been sending out teams from Churches who have been involved in a variety of projects from working with streetkids to building HIV/AIDs testing and community centres. Mission Africa also has a range of opportunities for Medical Electives and GAP year placements. See the website for current opportunities.
The needs throughout Africa are so great that there are always a wide range of opportunities to serve there as a missionary - whether in very practical ways or through direct spiritual input. A wide range of opportunities exist for those called and equipped by God for service in Africa. Again, see the website for current opportunities.
